About

Fayetteville Recreation Committee

The village remains committed to offering quality recreational activities for both our youth and adults. To achieve this, a full slate of recreation programming is offered by the Fayetteville Recreation Committee. This committee consists of 12 volunteer Board Members, a part-time Recreation Coordinator, and the liaison from the Fayetteville Board of Trustees. Together they plan and implement year-round programming, including such favorites as Summer Playground at Fayetteville Elementary School, Drama Programs, the Annual Ski and Skate Sale, Annual Bike and Blade Sale. The Fayetteville Recreation Committee is also very actively involved in Village events such as the Memorial Day Parade, Fayetteville Festival, and the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. We also collaborate in the larger community events of Wicked Woods and Frosty Forest.

The Fayetteville Recreation Office is located in the Village Hall (basement level). Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at the Village Hall at 7:00 p.m. Michele Middleton, Recreation Coordinator, can be reached by calling 637-4715.
